William David “Bil” Rodgers, of Utica, was born on August 17, 1941 to William B. and Ocie R. (Elliott) Rodgers in Pueblo, Colorado. He graduated from East High School in Denver, Colorado. Following high school, Bil attended the University of Denver earning his Bachelor of Arts Degree. On October 25, 1964, Bil was united in marriage to Karon Ehrke in Denver, Colorado. He worked in marketing and was also a writer and actor. In his free time, he liked to watch FOX News. He enjoyed creative writing, watching movies, theatre and the arts. He was known as “God’s Man of Many Faces” in the solo productions he performed throughout the country. Bil was a member of Mission Hills Church in Littleton, Colorado where he taught Sunday School for many years and more recently was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Utica, Nebraska. Bil passed away on June 10, 2022 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 80 years, 9 months and 24 days. He is survived by his wife, Karon Rodgers of Utica, Nebraska; son, David (Laura) Rodgers of Lincoln, Nebraska; daughter, Kara Lee Fehlhafer (Steve) of Utica, Nebraska; grandchildren, Darin (Megan) Rodgers, Brady (Alyssa) Fehlhafer, Kaitlyn Fehlhafer, Jake Fehlhafer; great grandchildren, Jackson Brady, Mackenzie & Devlin Rodgers. Bil was preceded in death by his parents, William and Rilla Rodgers; brother, Robert Rodgers.
