William (Bill) Charles Obermier was born on the family farm on February 19, 1938, to Walter and Anna (Finke) Obermier in Waco, Nebraska. On May 7, 1966, William was united in marriage to Shirley Bartels at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward, Nebraska. Bill was a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Waco, NE where he served on various boards and committees.
