William Charles Cronquist, Jr. was born on November 18, 1943 to William and Ella (Stenberg) Cronquist in St. Paul Minnesota. He attended Benson High School graduating in 1961. William served in the United States Army. He worked at Funks Seed Company until his retirement. In his free time, he enjoyed golf, fishing and stained glass. He was a member of the Goehner Volunteer Fire Department for 48 years. William passed away on February 28, 2025 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 81. He is survived by his sisters, Lois (Bill) Jackson of Elkhorn, Nebraska and Lynn Bowley of Omaha, Nebraska; brother, Roger (Lois) Cronquist of Liberty, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews. William was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ethel Cronquist and brother, Ronald Cronquist.
