Wilma Darline (Schildt) Mook was born on November 9, 1928 to August and Ida (Schultz) Schildt in Pleasant Dale, Nebraska. She attended grade school at District 64. On August 14, 1949 Wilma was united in marriage to Ralph Mook in Seward, Nebraska. Wilma was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family. She was also a home baker who made wedding, birthday and anniversary cakes and also cinnamon rolls. In her free time, she enjoyed quilting, making quilts for grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed attending Nebraska football games. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church (Middle Creek) in Seward and liked to attend bible studies. Wilma passed away on August 6, 2024 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 95. She is survived by her children, Deanna (Jim) Pulse of Pleasant Dale, Nebraska and Delores (Terry) Maret of Boise, Idaho; grandchildren, Carmen Maret (Andrew Bergeron) of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Tracy Maret of Boise, Idaho and Andrew Pulse of Lincoln, Nebraska; great granddaughter, Sage Harrison of Boise, Idaho; sisters-in-law, Donna Matthes of Malcolm, Nebraska, Carol Schildt of Pleasant Dale, Nebraska and Joan Schildt of Seward, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Ida Schildt; husband, Ralph Mook; brothers, Lawrence, Leslie and Larry Schildt; son-in-law, Richard Furnas; grandson, Matthew Furnas, parents-in-law, Roy and Hedwig “Hattie” Mook; sister-in-law, Lila Rublee; brothers-in-law, Ray Mook, “Bud” Rublee and “Bud” Matthes.
