Gwen Storer Krieser, 85, rural Garland, died on Sunday, May 15th , 2016. Gwen was born on a kitchen table in Lincoln, NE, June 16th, 1930. Gwen married Dr. Thomas F. Storer on May 19th, 1951 at the Papillion County Courthouse wearing a black sleeveless sheath and Tom was wearing an old shirt with a button popping off it and wrinkled pants. From this union, Wm. James Aaron Storer was born October 2nd, 1957.

Following Tomís death on October 22nd, 1961, Gwen married Harvey R. Krieser on December 2nd, 1962 in a light snowfall at Middle Creek Church, Seward County. From this union Holly Johanna Krieser was born October 31st, 1963.

Gwen graduated from University of Nebraska College of Arts and Sciences on February 6th, 1965 with a major in English and a minor in History and Philosophy which she loved, and 17 hours of Botany which she hated. Gwen continued on and received her Master of Arts degree from University of Nebraska Graduate College (not Teachers College) on July 16th, 1968. She taught World Literature at Seward Senior High School in room 125 from 1966 to 1992, and established and taught the AP English program from 1984 to 1992. She was very fond of all her students and rejoiced in all their accomplishments.

Children and spouses: son, Wm. James (and Terri) Storer, Loveland, CO; daughter, Holly (and Dave) Wagner, rural Garland. Grandchildren and spouses: Krysta Storer, Carmel, CA; David (and Amanda) Wagner, Goehner; Wendy (and Adam) Finley, Kansas City, MO.; Becky (and Craig) Hemphill, Seward. Great grandchildren: Hannah, Isabella and Cameron Wagner; Sophie and Heidi Hemphill.
